    Bitcoin is a digital asset and a payment system.  Bitcoin is a currency like no other. In short it's digital money that solves many of the problems our current currencies suffer from and introduces many other uncertainties we never had to deal with before. Bitcoin is open-source; its design is public, nobody owns or controls Bitcoin and everyone can take part.

    Bitcoin was created in 2008 and launched in 2009. It was created by a programmer called Nimakoto Satoshi.

    Bitcoin is not controlled by any government. Bitcoin is the only currency that has succeeded in humiliating the Dollars, pounds and euros.

    Truth is:
    1) Bitcoin is more secure than any bank note even the US dollar
    2) Bitcoin is not affected by inflation because its difficult to mine new blocks of Bitcoin while its easy for countries to print new notes
    3) Bitcoin will continue to increase in its value while every other currency in the world

    As at today, 1 Bitcoin = $780! That's over 400,000 naira.
